What is included in my party package?

All Bright Side party packages include exlusive use of Bright Side Play for an hour and 30 minutes for up to 20 children and 30 adults. For package specific details, please scroll up to the party packages toward the top of this page. 

Can I add more children or adults to my party package?

You can add up to 5 additional children and  up to 10 additional adults. Additional guest fees are as follows:

Bright Space Additional Child: $14.99

Themed Party Additional Child: $19.99

All-Inclusive Additional Child: $24.99

Additional Adults: Up to 10 additional adults can be added depending on how many children you have attending. Please let our team know if you think you will exceed 30 adults.

Adult and child headcount will be tracked during check-in and any overages will be charged prior to the end of the party.

Can I provide food or drinks at my party?

Yes! We allow pizza, chicken nuggets, donuts, cupcakes, cake, or cookies. No other foods are allowed in the space during parties. Outside drinks are welcome with the exception of alcoholic beverages. We do not allow any type of alcoholic beverages on our premise.

Any violation of this policy will result in a fee.

Where can I set-up and eat food?

All food and drinks must stay in your party room. We do not allow food or drinks in the play area for safety and sanitary purposes. 

Food can be set-up in your party room, We have an extra table available if you would like to set up a food station at one end of the your party room. Alternatively, we have shelves in the lobby where our team can store your food.. In that case, when it’s time to move to your party room, our team can serve the children and offer food to the adults as well. 

Failure to keep food and drinks in the party room will result in fees.

Can I bring in any decorations I want?

We allow most decorations – but we do have a few rules! 

– Decorations are only allowed in your party room (not the play area or lobby).

– We do not allow glitter, pinatas, confetti, slime, silly putty or color/confetti cannons. 

– Balloons must be anchored down with a weight or tied down to something so they do not float up into the ceiling.

– Decorations we do allow – balloons, garlands, backdrops, tablecloths, plates, napkins, etc.

What does my party timeline look like?

Arrival: You can arrive up to 30 minutes early to set up your party or get situated before your guests arrive.  

Party: Your party will last for an hour and 30 minutes. The first hour will be spent in the play area and then you will transition to your party room for the remaining 30 minutes. At the time of transition, the play area will be closed for cleaning and pick-up. While in your party room, you can eat food, share cupcakes/cake, or open presents. Guests will depart from your party room. 

After: Once your guests have departed, you will have 15 minutes to gather the items that you wish to take with you and load up. Our team will handle the remaining clean up and take down once you have departed. 

Your team lead will visit with you upon arrival about the timeline. They will provide you with reminders during the course of your party to help keep your party running smoothly.

 

Can I get a discount on a party?

Historically, we have not offered discounts on parties. We price our party packages competatively so all guests get the very best price all the time!

I booked a party but need to cancel. What do I do?

We understand that sometimes plans change and you might need to cancel a party booking. Our team is happy to help you with this request. However, please keep in mind that your party deposit is non-refundable and will not be refunded.

What are the party guidelines I have to follow?

All Bright Side parties must follow the below guidelines. 

  • TIMELINE:
    • Arrival Time: 30 minutes before the start of your party
      • We invite you to arrive up to 30 minutes early for your party Because each party we host is promised exclusivity, we will ask you to remain in your car if you show up before then. 
      • Please know that upon your arrival, the party before you may still be present for a short time, as they finish gathering their items, putting shoes back on, etc.  They will have departed before your party begins.
    • Party Start Time: The start time will be based on the time you select during check out.
      • The first hour of your party will be spent in the play area.
      • The last thirty minutes will be spent in the party room.
        • The play area is closed once all your guests are in the party room, so we can efficiently clean for the next party.  
    • Party End Time: The party end time will depend on the time you select during check out.
      • At that time, you have up to 15 minutes to pack up anything you want to take with you. Our team will handle any remaining cleanup once you have departed!
  • GUESTS:
    • Your party package includes 20 children and 30 adults.  
      • You can add up to 5 additional children and up to 10 additional adults. Adult and child headcount will be tracked during check-in and any overages will be charged prior to the end of the party. 
      • We require that you let us know how many guests you expect to attend by the Wednesday before your party.
    • We encourage you to have your guests fill out our waiver beforehand, even grandparents. This makes the check in process run so much smoother. The link is here! 
    • We are a shoe free facility! This is to ensure the cleanliness of our space for our littlest friends. Please let your guests know that both adults and children will be required to remove their shoes in the lobby upon arrival. We allow guests to be barefoot or sock-foot.
  • FOOD:
    • You are welcome to bring food items (allowed items include pizza, nuggets & fries, cheese/fruit platters) and dessert (allowed items include donuts, cookies, cupcakes, and/or cake). No other food items are permitted unless there are extenuating circumstances, which must be approved by management.
    • Outside drinks are welcome, with the exception of alcoholic beverages, which we do not allow on our premise. Any violation of this policy will result in an immediate termination of your party.
    • All food and drink must be kept in the party room. Failure to keep food and drinks in the party room could result in additional cleaning fees. 
    • We keep cake knives, lighters, cake plates and donut stands on hand so you don’t have to worry about bringing those unless you have something specific you would like to use!
  • DECORATIONS: 
    • Any decorations included in your package will be set up prior to your arrival time listed above.
    • Party room assignments will be provided upon arrival. Please know this assignment is determined based upon our schedule. 
    • All decorations must be contained to the party room (not the play area or lobby).
    • We do not allow glitter, face paint, pinatas, confetti, slime, silly putty, or color/confetti cannons. 
    • Decorations we DO allow – balloons, garlands, backdrops, tablecloths, plates, napkins, etc.
      • Balloons must be anchored down with a weight or tied down to something, so they do not float up into the ceiling.
      • If you would like to hang anything on the wall, we allow 3m command strips and hooks to be used. No push pins or tape please. 
    • There is a long white credenza available to place items upon, and we can bring in an additional folding table if needed. The credenza cannot be moved for any reason.
    • The table dimensions are 2.5 feet wide x 5 feet long and we place three tables end to end; usually two rectangular 108” tablecloths cover them perfectly, but you can bring 3-4 just in case! 
    • Feel free to bring a highchair if you are celebrating a one-year-old birthday. 
  • BRIGHT SIDE HOST:
    • Our team is excited to support you, and you will have a designated host! She will help assist you with set-up, keep your party on track, be an extra set of hands, and the best part – she’ll handle take-down and clean up. 
  • PAYMENT: 
    • Your final invoice will arrive in your inbox the Wednesday before your party. We like to send this to you ahead of time so that you have one less thing to worry about on party day. If you prefer to pay in person at the time of the party, that is fine, too!
    • We require payment in full when you arrive for your party if you haven’t already paid the balance. 

All the above rules allow us to ensure that your party goes smoothly and is enjoyable for you and your guests. It also allows us to ensure that each party is respectful of the party coming after your own and does not delay the incoming party. We hope to never have to impose fees for rule infractions!
